Owning and Driving Performance (ODP)

Owning and Driving Performance (ODP™) is an approach to culture change based on a national award-winning approach and the research regarding local government and public sector agencies as detailed within the ‘21st Century Public Servant’ INLOGOV publication. Dovetailed with strengths-based practice and customised for each Council service and performance priorities, it has been undertaken across a wide range of Local Authorities, National Bodies, Community Sector Organisations, CCGs, ICBs and Private Organisations. 

Most recently evolving to include context and performance within public services highlighted through Covid experience with greater emphasis than ever before of the need for collaboration, joined up practice, and relationships based upon a foundation of trust and hybrid working.

Who We Are

As a national and international agency, we work across a diverse range of public, private and third sector organisations, statutory bodies, and UN organisations to effect culture change to ensure fitness for the 21st Century.

 

ELA Development's business objectives are to design, deliver and facilitate a wide range of organisational development and training interventions to enhance capability and confidence to support and challenge organisations in their quest to be fit for the future. 

ELA Development's methodologies vary from facilitating strategic conversations, coaching & feedback sessions to two-year accredited programmes, short workshops, and systems development across and within all levels of an organisation and partnerships.

We work from a systems thinking mindset. The impact of the external factors and change (political, economic, environmental, social and technological) on the organisation or partnerships is an essential context. We offer an interconnected approach that has a future focus. Changes in mindset, beliefs, behaviours as first lever of change together with ensuring their congruity with the hard and soft systems and processes within the business or organisation, to ensure success.
